私自身4WDという仕様から2013.05.13に紹介した「仰天　フォルクスワーゲンのニューゴルフ(New Golf)のGTIはモンスターマシン！！　というのは冗談でDesign Vision GTI の紹介」のGTIはRと言った方が良いのではないかと思ってはいました。

前回の記事はここをポチッと。
前回紹介したようにフォルクスワーゲンとしては現在欧州で発売開始しているGTIのイメージを未来型にしたのがDesign Vision GTIと言うことですのであまり追求しないままとなっておりました。
Golf 4WD といえばR。ですので、今回は、R(R32含む)とDesign Vision GTIのについてエンジンスペック中心に比較してみました。

結果、Design Vision GTIの圧勝でした。

代々Golf Rと言えば4WDで4世代目と5世代目はR32と呼ばれるV63.2Lエンジン搭載のマシンを市販してきています。
もちろん、今年の初めまで販売していた6世代目でもRは4WD(6世代目のRは直4 2.0L)でした。

私自身あまり深く追求していなかったので、R32というのは特別な存在でとてもありがたいものだと思っていました。でも6世代目の2.0L+tutboが最高性能であることからするとR32というのは今ではそうでもないのかな。ただ、R32と名をつけたときは破格の性能だったのだと思います。

Design Vision GTIのスペックは下記の通りです。駆動方式は今回比較するすべての機種が4WDですのでそれは改めて表にしません。
ここは3種類比較します。

エンジン形式 V6 3.0L+Twinturbo
馬力  503 hp/560rpm
トルク 413 lb-ft/4000rpm
          57.1 kgm
ギア DSG(詳細不明)
0-62mile 3.9sec

調べると第4世代から第6世代のRの中では、第6世代が一番高性能でした。
ですが、Design Vision GTIはその2倍近くの性能を示しています。
市販用ではなくコンセプトモデルでありトラック(サーキット)をすぐにでも走れるチューニングを施しているのですから当たり前かも。
それでもこれまでのRを遙かにしのぐせいのにあこがれを持ってしまいます。

4世代目　マニュアル　ドイツ本国では6速DSG有り

馬力   238 hp/6250rpm
トルク 32.6 kgm/2800-3200rpm
0-100km/h 6.6 sec


5世代目　日本仕様はマニュアルでしたかね

エンジン形式 V6 3.2L(DOHC4バルブ)
馬力 247 hp/6300rpm
トルク 32.6 kgm/2500-3000rpm
0-100km/h 6.0 sec

6世代目 6速DSG

エンジン形式 L4 2.0L(DOHC4バルブ)+turbo
馬力   266 hp/6000rpm
トルク 35.7 kgm/2500-5000rpm
0-100km/h 5.5 sec

以前、VR6が発売された時に中途半端な仕様だったので
R32、大したことないのかなぁ～と思ってたら、知人が購入し
GTIとは全然味付けが違っていて、走っていて楽しいと聞いた事も有り
今回のモデルとどっちが速い(面白い)のかなぁ？と思い質問させてもらいました
