運転席に座って今日で3回目になりました。
エレクトリックパーキングブレーキに触れて、シートへ話題を移していきます。

[エレクトリックパーキングブレーキは当たり前]
一度やり始めたら全車標準にしていくフォルクスワーゲン。
電磁パーキングブレーキ(フォルクスワーゲンではエレクトリックパーキングブレーキ)がゴルフ7に引き続き標準装備になっています。
すっきり、スマート、快適ドライブ。いい装備です。

[シートはひとつづつグレートアップ]
パサート8バリアントに採用されているシート地はゴルフ7と比べ1ランク向上しています。
パサート8バリアントのハイラインはナパレザーという素材を使用しています。表面はパンチングされた穴が多数開いており通気性(ベンチレーションのため)抜群です。
ちなみにパサート8バリアントコンフォートラインのシート地がゴルフ7ハイラインと同じファブリック(1グレード上の仕上げ)です。その下も順次ゴルフと比べ一つ上です。

[パワーシート]
パサート8バリアントではハイライン、Ｒラインが8ウェイパワーシート装備(運転席、助手席)でコンフォートラインでリクライニング2ウェイパワーシート装備(運転席)になっています。
8ウェイパワーシートは2つの設定を覚えられるようになっています。

メモリーにおぼえさせなくても、テスターが試乗のため自分にシートを合わせるとそれを最後の記憶として上記2つのメモリーとは別に記憶してくれました。
うれしいのは乗降時です。
セットしたのちにエンジン停止してドアを開けると、シートが一番後ろまで下がって背もたれが標準位置に戻ります。
乗り降りしやすいですよ。
次にドアを開け乗車しドアを閉めるとシートが最後に記憶した位置に前進し背もたれも最後に記憶した角度になってくれます。
これで運転姿勢完成です。

{シートヒーターとベンチレーション}
最近ではアルトにシートヒーターがついておりここまで来たかと思っていました。
パサート8バリアントではその上を行く装備になっていました。
運転席と助手席に3段階切り替えのシートヒーターとこれまた3段切り替えのベンチレーション機能がついています。
今はとてもシートに汗がついて臭くなりべっちょりする季節です。
ベンチレーション機能いいなー。
だからレザーながら穴あきなんです。

{マッサージ}
ハイラインとＲラインには運転席にシートマッサージ機能がついています。
後から分かったので試しておりませんが、長距離運転には役立ちそうです。

[テレスコピック付]
当然ですがテレスコピック機能付きですから、シート足と背の角度を完全に作った後、腕の位置にステアリングをきっちり合わせることが出来ます。
ステアリングの位置合わせは手動です。

[ドアミラーもフォルクスワーゲン]
ドアミラーの機能はもう20年くらいになりますか。
一度左右の位置を合わせてしまうと、次からは右のミラーを動かすとそれに連動して左のミラーもちょうどいい角度に動いてくれます。
この機能はパサート8バリアントでも健在です。
一つ一つカチッとした技術を作り上げすべての車に広げていく。
ここでもフォルクスワーゲンのこだわりと合理性を見ることが出来ます。
